Justin Madugu, Super Falcons coach, says that every team in the tournament deserves respect, including Morocco’s opponents en route the final.

Madugu spoke at the pre-match press conference on Friday. The Super Falcons beat Zambia and South Africa to progress to the final, while Morocco knocked out Mali and Ghana.

The Falcons coach believes every team in the tournament came on merit, so his team will not focus on what some say is an easy route to the final for Morocco.

“It’s not for us to judge anybody as a weak team or a strong team. They all deserve our respect, having qualified for this tournament. It’s about judgment. This team is stronger than the other. It’s about judgment.

“I think they all deserve the respect, having qualified for this tournament. We know that everybody cannot win. Certainly, no matter how competitive the teams can even be, somebody will win and another will lose. Or the competition will be progress by any means,” he said.

Madugu said his players and the backroom staff are prepared for the task ahead and will do all what they need in order to accomplish “Mission X.”
