The former Villarreal winger joined the club on loan for the 2025/2026 season with an option to make the move permanent. Speaking to the club’s media, he said the presence of his Super Eagles teammates makes it feel like home.

“I’m so happy to be here. It’s an amazing club. It feels like home, because I have my people around me.

“I feel at home already, and I can’t wait to get started.

” I can’t wait to see them, I can’t wait to play with them in this great club. They’re fun to be with and they’re professional with what they do so having them around me is gonna help me a lot,” he said.

Chukwueze will wear the Fulham number 19 shirt and will be playing alongside Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey, both of whom are integral members of Marco Silva’s team.

He revealed that the coach personally spoke to him and explained the team’s tactics and why he will get playing time. The Diamond Academy of Umuahia product has his sight set on getting the best out of his transfer to the London-based club.

“For me I can’t wait to get started. The Premier League is everyone’s dream, every player wanna play in the Premier League, it’s one of the best leagues in the world. For now I’m just focusing on myself to try and get the rhythm and do what I know how to do best,” added.

Chukwueze will have to wait till after the international break to make his debut for the club. He is part of Eric Chelle’s squad for the Super Eagles games against Rwanda and South Africa.
