Remo Stars Football Club has reaffirmed that head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, remains a key part of the club’s technical crew and continues to serve as Head Coach of the Sky Blue Stars.
According to a club statement released on Wednesday in response to the coach’s rumoured resignation from his head Coach role, Remo Stars clarified that Ogunmodede is currently attending a CAF B Coaching Course in Abuja as part of his continuous professional development and commitment to technical and personal growth.
The statement further noted that the coach will also continue his national team assignment with Nigeria, as the country intensifies preparations for the FIFA World Cup African play-offs, the potential intercontinental play-off, and the Africa Cup of Nations later this year.
Remo Stars emphasized that this period requires collective national support and dedication to the progress of Nigerian football, while expressing confidence in Ogunmodede’s professionalism and commitment.
“Coach Daniel remains a valued and vital member of the Remo Stars family, and we look forward to his successful completion of these national and personal engagements,” the statement concluded.
