NWFL and Toptier Sports Management

The Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) has secured a sponsorship deal worth ₦20 billion. 

The NWFL revealed this on Friday. The league signed what it described as a landmark investment agreement with Toptier Sports Management on Friday, December 19, 2025.

 

The deal was signed and presented at the Fraser Suites, Abuja. The investment is a 10-year private sector commitment to drive long-term growth, sustainability and professionalism of the league.

 

Under the agreement, the NWFL will initially benefit from a five-year investment deal, which can be renewed upon review, with ₦1 billion committed annually and guaranteed 15 percent year-on-year increase.

 

200 million is allocated to league administration which 800 million is dedicated to branding, marketing and commercial development.

 

The National Sports Commission was represented by Bukola Olopade, the Director General, while the Nigeria Football Federation was represented by Mohammed Sanusi, the General Secretary.
