Eric Chelle, Super Eagles coach, with Fidelis Ilechukwu and Daniel Ogunmode, his two assistants, are putting finishing touches to the Home-based Eagles preparations for the CHAN tournament.
The team is currently in Ikenne preparing for the tournament which was earlier postponed by CAF and will now take place in August 2025.
The team is made up of some of the finest players from the just concluded NPFL season and are expected to put up a good show in the tournament, and possibly do better than their best ever outing as runners-up.
The 2025 CHAN tournament will be held in August and co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
The Home-based Eagles will play series of friendly games before their departure to the tournament and we will bring the report whenever they play their tune-up games.
