Italian Heavyweights, AC Milan have turned their attention to Super Eagles striker, Tolu Arokodare in order to strengthen their squad next season.

The Rossoneri plans to sell off Divock Origi who has since been deemed surplus to requirements, as reported by Tuttosport and Football Italia.

Maximiliano Allegri, the new coach of Milan wants a striker with good numbers and Arokodare is getting his attention.

Divock Origi still has a contract which runs until June 2026. He failed to get back into the main team last season after a disappointing time on loan at Nottingham Forest and eventually being relegated to the Youth Team.

Arokodare had a stellar season with KRC and fits into the kind of striker Allegri wants. Tolu’s imposing stature delights the coach and will be suited for Italian football.

AC Milan are discussing with Origi for mutual termination of his contract which will come with compensation. The striker’s salary is worth €4m per year.

The Super Eagles striker scored 23 goals with seven assists in 45 games last season and has made four appearances for the national team, scoring his first goal for the side against Russia in an international friendly game.
