Ahmed Musa, Super Eagles forward, has retired from international football.
The forward made this announcement on Wednesday on his social media pages. The ex former Leicester City winger was full of joy because of his achievements with the national team.
I wore this badge with pride for 15 years.

“To my teammates over the years, the coaches, backroom staff, administrators, thank you for believing in me. To the fans at home and abroad, in stadiums and in front of their TVs, your support meant more than you know.
“As I step away from international football, I do so with peace and gratitude,” he said
The 33-year-old played for the Flying Eagles, the Dream Team and the Super Eagles. He made 111 appearances for the Super Eagles, becoming the most capped player of the team in history.
He made his debut for the Super Eagles as a 17-year-old when he came in as a substitute for Mikel Obi in a 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier and scored his debut goal in a friendly game against Kenya in 2011.
He became the first Nigerian to score in two different World Cup tournaments and also the first Nigerian to score more than once in a FIFA World Cup match. He won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations
