David Raya, Arsenal goalkeeper has signed an improved deal with the club.
According to the BBC, the Spanish goalkeeper has finalized terms on a deal which will see him earn a pay increase on the contract he signed when joining the club permanently in the summer of 2024.
Raya earned a reported £100,000-per-week but after he agreed to this deal, his wages have increased. Nevertheless, the length of his contract with the club is still the same. His contract expires in 2028.
Raya joined Arsenal on loan from Brentford in 2023. He won the Premier League’s Golden Gloves award in the 2023/2024 season, his debut season for the Gunners.
Arsenal also handed improved deals to Leandro Trossard whose contract expires in 2027 and have also opened talks with Jurrien Timber over a long-term deal. Gabriel Magalhaes extended his contract until June 2029.
