Bukayo Saka will miss Arsenal’s trip to Anfield on Sunday and England’s World Cup qualifiers against Serbia and Andorra due to injury.
Saka went off injured on Saturday against Leeds United and will be out for four weeks.
Arsenal spanked Leeds 5-0 but Saka’s injury was a little dent to their beautiful evening.
Arteta will have to rely on his new signing, Viktor Gyokeres, Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze who was unveiled on Saturday.
Arteta will also have to worry about his captain, Ordegaard who also had a shoulder injury in the same game. Ordegaard may return quicker than Saka to boost Arsenal’s run in the Premiership — with two victories so far since the 2025-26 English Premier League (EPL) campaign started.
In their absence, Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard and Ethan Nwaneri will be expected to rise to the occasion if given the opportunity to start against the Arne Slot’s me on Sunday.
