Chelle invites Osimhen, Ekong and 29 others for Rwanda and South Africa clash

Eric Chelle has listed Ifeanyi Harcourt, a 15-year-old goalkeeper, and thirty other players ahead of the double World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa.

 

The team will regroup for the first time after winning the Unity Cup in London. Chelle handed returns to goalkeeper Adeleye Adebayo, defender Chidozie Awazie and forward Terem Moffi. Here is the full list.

Nigeria will play against Rwanda at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Saturday, September 6 before flying to Bloemfontein to face South Africa in a decisive encounter on Tuesday,  September 9.

 

The Super Eagles must win all games and hope for favourable results from other centres in order to boost their chances of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.
