Chelsea have agreed a deal for Nicolas Jackson to join Bayern Munich after an improved offer, BBC reports.
Jackson will complete an initial loan move valued at £14.3m which includes a mandatory obligation to buy for £56.2m through a minimum number of appearances.
The deal is now worth over £70m. Based on his performance, he would be given a five-year permanent contract. Jackson joined The Blues from Villarreal in 2023 and scored 30 goals in 81 matches.
Chelsea earlier recalled Jackson after Liam Delap’s injury on Saturday in a game against Fulham. Chelsea have also signed Argentine, Facundo Buonanotte on a deal from Brighton.
Sources say he lost the trust of the manager, Enzo Maresca at Stamford Bridge. He could be in Bayern’s squad to face Chelsea in Munich on September 17, 2025
