Chiamaka Nnadozie named fourth best women’s goalkeeper in the world

Chiamaka Nnadozie has been ranked fourth in the 2025 Women’s Yashin Trophy.

The award is given to the best women’s goalkeeper in the world. Nnadozie was shortlisted in the category after a stellar season with Paris FC and the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations with the Super Falcons.

 

England’s goalkeeper Hannah Hampton won the award.

 

Nnadozie was voted the best goalkeeper at the WAFCON. She is also currently the African Goalkeeper of the Year award winner.

 

Others in the rankings include Germany’s Ann-Katrin Berger and Spain’s Catalina Coll. Dutch goalkeeper, Daphne van Domselaar finished in fifth place.

 

Nnadozie moved to Brighton from Paris FC where she spent five years, leading the club to the Champions League and also the best goalkeeper in the France award.
