Chiamaka Nnadozie has been nominated for the FIFA Best Awards in the 11 Women’s Goalkeeper category.

The Super Falcons goalkeeper and African goalkeeper of the year is nominated alongside other prominent goalkeepers in the world like Ann-Katrin Berger (Germany, Gotham FC), Catalina Coll (Spain, Barcelona), Hannah Hampton (England, Chelsea), and Anna Moorehouse (England, Orlando Pride).

The Brighton goalkeeper was earlier in the year nominated for the Balon d’or award and is also having a good season with her new English club and has also been nominated for awards already in England.

She helped the Super Falcons to win the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) for a record tenth time and played a great role in Paris FC’s Coupe de France victory, a parting gift to the French side after five years with them.

Voting for the awards is open to coaches, captains, media representatives and fans registered on FIFA’s website, until November 28, 2025.
