Moses Simon, Super Eagles winger, may miss Nigeria’s friendly game against Egypt in December.
The high profile friendly will be played in Cairo as part of preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The winger will miss the game due to a conflicting schedule between club and country.
According to RMC Sport, Paris FC have made a resolution not to release any of their African players before 14th December, the exact date of the friendly game with Egypt.
Moses Simon is an important player for the Super Eagles and one of the country’s most capped players. This resolution means that Simon will only be in France on the day of the friendly game with Egypt.
The 2025 AFCON will kick off on 21 December. Eric Chelle and Hossam Hassan will use the game to prepare for the tournament. The Egypt vs Nigeria game will be played at the Cairo International Stadium.
