Ousmane Dembele has won the 2025 Ballon d’Or award.Â
The Paris Saint-Germain forward beat Lamine Yamal of Barcelona to the keenly contested award in Paris.
The award was handed to the French player by Ronaldinho, Brazil’s football legend.
Dembele was a key performer for Paris Saint-Germain as they won their first UEFA Champions League in style, beating Inter Milan 5-0 in the final.
He also won the Ligue 1 with PSG and finished as joint top scorer with 21 goals and also being voted the player of the season. He was also named the Champions League player of the season.
He won the Coupe de France and the Trophee des Champions. Dembele was also instrumental to PSG playing in the final of the Club World Cup which they lost to Chelsea
