Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) club Kano Pillars has officially announced the return of Evans Ogenyi as their new technical adviser
Ogenyi takes over the role previously held by Usman Abdallah, who left the position in May, due to personal reasons.
Sport Resonance gathered that his appointment takes effect immediately, as he is returning to familiar territory having guided the team to gain promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) in 2022/2023 season.
Ogenyi was previously an assistant coach at one-time NFPL champions Rivers United. Where he departed last month following the expiration of his contract.
Beyond his time at Rivers United and his previous stint with Kano Pillars, Ogenyi coaching profile includes handling Warri Wolves and Lobi Stars, two other established names in Nigerian club football.
Kano Pillars will be hoping Ogenyi can rekindle the success of his last tenure and steer the club towards achieving their ambitions in the 2025/26 NPFL season.
