The Nigerians doubled the lead in the 24th minute when Alaba Olabiyi poked home a header from Precious Oscar after the winger nodded Ramotalahi’s cross onto her path.

The Ghanaians came all out in the second half to get an equalizer but the Nigerian defense stood still. Kareem Ramotalahi sealed the game when she pounced on Akekoromowei’s cross from the left and slotted home.

Ghana has played all their matches and have 6 points after two wins against Benin Republic and two losses against Nigeria. The Falconets have 9 points from three games and have automatically won the tournament with a game to spare against Benin Republic on Wednesday.
