Flamingos go on excursion at King’s Palace in Rabat

Nigeria’s U17 girls, the Flamingos took time off the disappointment of the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup to go on an excursion in Rabat.

 

Bankole Olowookere’s girls crashed out of the tournament after winning just one game out of four, including a 4-0 loss to Italy in the round of 16.

 

The girls were at various places, including the King’s Palace and the Mausoleum of the late King Mohamed V. Following their elimination from the world cup, the Flamingos and their officials are scheduled to depart Morocco at 1am on Friday, 31st October 2025.

 

The Flamingos got their highest achievement in 2022 when they finished with bronze medal and also got to the round of 16 at the last world cup in 2024
