Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has announced a cash reward of five million naira and a plot of land for each player of Kwara United for winning the 2025 President Federation Cup.
The Governor made the announcement on Monday during a reception for the players in Ilorin. The players and officials of the team were engaged in a trophy parade as they arrived the capital city on Monday.
This is coming after the Harmony Boys ended a long wait for a major trophy with a 4-3 penalty victory over giant slayers, Abakaliki FC at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.
The Governor also made a donation of one million naira to one of the club’s most loyal supporters known as Iya Guguru for her loyalty to the team. Additionally, Ambassador Yahaya Seriki also donated the sum of five hundred thousand naira to her.
Kwara United picked one of the tickets to the continent and will play in the CAF Confederation Cup.
