Francois Ferracci, sporting director of Paris FC, has described Moses Simon’s move to the club as a priority for the side.

“He will make us more efficient in many areas,” Ferracci said.

”We are delighted to welcome Moses. He was a priority recruit for us, and he showed genuine interest in our project despite the numerous requests.”

The former Nantes winger was unveiled by the Paris club on Wednesday. Moses stayed with Nantes for six seasons, scored 37 goals and provided 42 assists in 201 matches across all competitions.

He is Paris FC’s first major addition after the club got promoted to Ligue 1 after the signing of French U19 winger, Nhoa Sangui. Simon is expected to bring his experience to help the new Ligue 1 side to stay on the top tier of French league football next season.

On Wednesday, FC Nantes bade farewell to their former winger. In a message to the player on their website, the club said: “So, even if the story is coming to an end, it will have been beautiful, very beautiful even.

The entire Nantes Football Club wishes Moses the best for the rest of his career and warmly thanks him for these 6 wonderful years spent at the Club.”
