Tolu Arokodare, Super Eagles forward, has declared that he will naturally fit into the English Premier League (EPL) easily without any issue due to his style of play.
Arokodare who officially joinedWolverhampton Wanderers, a EPL side after signing a four-year contract with an option for an additional year after completing a successful spell in Belgium with KRC Genk.
The 24-year-old forward arrives at Molineux following an impressive two-year stint in Belgium, where he registered 41 goals and eight assists in 113 matches, clinching the Belgian Pro League Golden Boot last season under the management of Thorsten Fink.
Arokodare expressed strong belief in his ability to adapt quickly to the rigorous demands and high physicality of English football, despite the struggles that many foreign players face when transitioning from other European leagues into the Premier League.
The Nigerian international emphasized that the intensity and speed of the league suit his natural playing style, which is built on strength, pace, and direct attacking movement across the forward line.
“I believe I will fit in well because the Premier League requires physicality, constant runs, and non-stop intensity, which perfectly align with my attributes,” Arokodare said during his first interview with Wolves.
“I am strong, I am fast, and although the initial weeks may not be easy, I am confident of settling in quickly and proving myself.”
The former FC Köln striker revealed that joining the Premier League EPL had always been part of his career ambition, having previously played in France, Germany, and Belgium before finally sealing a move to England.
“I felt the timing was right because I wanted this step, and despite rumours linking me elsewhere, this is exactly where I wanted to be,” he added.
Arokodare concluded by expressing excitement about meeting his new teammates and working with the coaching staff, insisting he is eager to silence any doubters and make his mark at Molineux.
