Lagos State is set to host the 8th Lagos International Badminton Classics at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Teslim Balogun stadium.
The event which will be held from August 27-30, 2025 is organized by the Badminton Federation of Nigeria (BFN) in collaboration with the Badminton World Federation (BWF) and the Lagos State Sports Commission.
The 2025 Lagos International Badminton Classics will feature over 200 players from 31 countries across Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas.
India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, France, Canada, Egypt, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are among the countries which will participate at the Classics.
This increases the number of events hosted by Lagos State in 2025, having hosted tournaments in Table Tennis, African Senior Fencing Championship, Zen Archery Lagos International Open and others.
