Oladapo Tunde Augustine, Nigerian midfielder, has penned a heartfelt farewell message to club ES Sétifienne, his Algerian football side.
This marked the end of a remarkable chapter defined by dedication, unity and fierce competitiveness for the former Enyimba’s captain.
In a post on his social media page, Oladapo declared that Setif holds a special significance as the birth city of his daughter.
“Leaving is never easy, especially when you leave a piece of your heart behind. I will never forget ” setif” the city of my daughter’s birth,”
Oladapo wrote on his facebook page.
He went further to stress on the unwavering support of fans further enriched his experience, embracing him wholeheartedly and solidifying his connection to Sétif.
“And to the fans – words will never be enough. You stood by me through every high and low. You welcomed me, believed in me, and made me feel like one of your own. Every chant, every cheer, every message of support meant the world to me. You are the soul of this club, and I will forever carry your love in my heart.”
He recounted his impactful journey with the club, expressing gratitude to the fans, management, and most importantly, his fellow teammates.
Describing them as more than just colleagues, he cherishes the deep bonds and shared experiences that defined his time on the pitch.
