Monaco have parted ways with head coach Adi Hütter following a disappointing run that saw the club win only one of their last five matches across all competitions.
Hütter, 55, was appointed in July 2023 after previous managerial spells at Borussia Mönchengladbach and Eintracht Frankfurt. Despite guiding Monaco to consecutive top-three finishes in Ligue 1, the team’s inconsistent start to the 2025–26 campaign has prompted the club to act.
“The club would like to thank Adi and his staff for their work and commitment to AS Monaco, and wish them the best for the future,” Monaco said in an official statement.
The Austrian coach leaves the Stade Louis II with Monaco sitting fifth in Ligue 1, three points behind leaders Paris Saint-Germain.
Monaco will visit Angers on Saturday, October 18, before hosting Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Champions League on October 22, having already earned an impressive 2–2 draw against Manchester City earlier in the group stage.
