The Disciplinary Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has upheld the decision of the NPFL to deduct 3 points and 3 goals from Kano Pillars for crowd trouble.

Kano Pillars were banned from their home ground indefinitely by the NPFL for the behaviour of their fans in the game against Shooting Stars. The Sai Masugida then appealed the decision.

In its judgement on Thursday, the Committee adopted most of the decisions of the NPFL and had modifications to some of them. It upheld the decision to deduct 3 points and 3 goals from the club, after agreeing with the NPFL that the fans of the side were unruly.

The Committee also modified the order closing the Sani Abacha indefinitely. It reduced the indefinite stadium ban to just five games, which will run concurrently from the date of the sanction.

The Committee also modified the fines and reduced them to ₦5.5M instead of the initial ₦9.5M which was handed to the club by the NPFL.
