Tunisia maintained their flawless qualification campaign after defeating Equatorial Guinea 1-0 on Monday, sealing their place at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The Carthage Eagles became Africa’s second team to qualify, following Morocco’s success over the weekend, as Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane struck decisively.
Romdhane converted in the 94th minute in Malabo, sending Tunisia to their third consecutive and seventh overall FIFA World Cup appearance.
With the win, Tunisia moved to 22 unassailable points from eight games.
