The Nigeria Basketball Federation has announced Port-Harcourt, Rivers State as host of the 2025 Nigeria Men’s Premier Basketball League.
Babs Ogunade, Vice President of the NBBF, made this known in a statement to media on Monday.
This came after the successful conclusion of the Atlantic and Savannah conferences.
There was a bidding process for the hosts of the finals which includes the final eight and four of the premier basketball championship. Rivers Hoppers of Port-Harcourt eventually won the hosting rights.
The final 8 is expected to be held from October 26 to November 3, 2025. Teams are expected to arrive on October 26 while the matches are to be played in a round-robin format from October 27 to November 2.
The final 4 matches will involve the top four teams from the final 8 and it will be held from 20-23 November 2025 at the same venue
