President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has showered gifts to players and officials of the Super Falcons on their return to the country from Morocco.
The team arrived in Nigeria on Monday afternoon to a waiting government delegation at the airport and made their way to the Presidential Villa and were welcomed by crowds on their way to see the President.
At the Villa, Rasheedat Ajibade, captain of the team, presented the trophy to the President who was in company of his wife, Oluremi Tinubu.
The President magnanimously approved the sum of $100,000 each to all the players, 3 bedroom apartment to each player at the Renewed Hope Estate in Abuja. All the officials will get $50,000 each.
Additionally, all the players and technical crew were conferred with OON awards. The Nigerian Governors Forum also gifted each team member N10M.
