Rasheedat Ajibade, Super Falcons captain, is giving scholarships to students through the Rasheedat Ajibade Foundation.
The foundation aims to support underprivileged Nigerian students in secondary schools and universities. The programme is titled ‘Back to School Scholarship,’ and will provide full or partial tuition coverage to selected students.
The Foundation will screen applicants to determine those with strong academic potential and genuine financial needs, to approve them as beneficiaries.
The application process does not require entrance exams or rigorous interviews. Successful applicants will receive direct grants to cover school-related expenses and support for SSCE, NECO exams or UTME registration fees and tuition assistance for secondary school students and students in tertiary institutions.
The beneficiaries will also gain access to the foundation’s mentorship network in leadership, sports and community development and also opportunities for direct mentorship by the Paris Saint-Germain forward.
