Marcus Rashford marked his first goal involvement in La Liga as Barcelona cruised to a dominant victory over Valencia.
Rashford, on loan from Manchester United, delivered a superb left-wing cross that allowed Raphinha to double the hosts’ lead shortly after the interval.
Rashford, making his second start for the Spanish champions, the English played 67 lively minutes.
Though yet to find his first goal since moving to the Nou Camp, Rashford produced two off-target efforts and threatening with his movement.
Fermin Lopez opened the scoring after running onto Ferran Torres’ clever pass.
Lopez smashed home a stunning strike from distance to make it 3-0.
Half-time substitute Raphinha added a brace, rifling in the fourth after his opener.
Robert Lewandowski, also introduced from the bench, joined the party with two late goals.
He first converted Dani Olmo’s assist, then delicately chipping in Barcelona’s sixth, a strike confirmed by VAR after an initial offside flag.
Barcelona could have extended their advantage further, with Torres hitting the post after Rashford’s cross was deflected into his path.
The game was staged at the 6,000-capacity Johan Cruyff Stadium, where Barça B usually play, due to ongoing redevelopment work at Camp Nou.
