Remo Stars, Ikorodu City qualify for NPFL Youth League super six finals

Remo Stars and Ikorodu City U19 have qualified for the Super Six finals of the 2025 NPFL Youth League from the South West Zone with a game to spare.

 

Both sides recorded big wins to seal their place in the playoffs after taking their points tally to 10 apiece. The Ikenne centre has 6 six teams; Remo Stars, Ikorodu City, Sunshine Stars, Shooting Stars, Bendel Insurance and Kwara United.

 

With both sides sealing qualification, they will now complete the final group games on Sunday to determine who wins the centre.

 

Action will resume in the Kano and Umuahia centre on Sunday. The centre has Kano Pillars, Elkanemi Warriors, Katsina United, Nasarawa United, Niger Tornadoes and Plateau United.

 

The Umuahia centre has eight teams competing for two spots in the playoffs. The teams are: Abia Warriors, Akwa United, Enyimba, Rangers, Heartland, Bayelsa United, Rivers United and Lobi Stars.

 

The top two teams from the three centres will qualify for the for Super Six finals which will be played at a venue yet to be determined by the league.
