Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has confirmed his starting lineup for today’s crucial FIFA World Cup playoff clash against the Leopards of DR Congo in Rabat, dropping Akor Adams to the bench as he makes two key changes from the Gabon match.
Semi Ajayi and Frank Onyeka return to the XI as the Super Eagles look to secure their ticket to the 2026 World Cup.
Their inclusion sees striker Akor Adams as well as defender Bright Osayi Samuel drop to the bench, with the coach opting for greater midfield solidity and defensive balance in this decisive encounter.
According to the official team sheet, Stanley Nwabali starts in goal, with Benjamin Fredrick, Calvin Bassey, Semilogo Ajayi and Zaidu Sanusi completing the defensive unit.
In midfield, Frank Onyeka and Wilfred Ndidi add steel in the middle of the park, while Alex Iwobi provides creativity ahead of them.
