Tickets are officially on sale as Super Eagles of Nigeria are confirmed for an international friendly against Venezuela, scheduled for Friday, November 14, at Shell Energy Stadium in Houston, Texas.

Houston Dynamo and Houston Dash, the resident clubs at Shell Energy Stadium, confirmed the commencement of ticket sales on Thursday.

In a post on X, the club announced: “Tickets for the international friendly between Venezuela and Nigeria at @ShellEnergyStdm are live now!”

“Season ticket holders received exclusive early access on Wednesday, before general sales launched to the wider public via SeatGeek on Thursday morning.”

The friendly forms part of Nigeria’s preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

It is crucial build-up ahead of December’s continental tournament.

The Super Eagles will be making their first-ever appearance at Shell Energy Stadium.

The Super Eagles last played in Houston in May 2013 against Mexico, drawing 2-2 shortly after winning the Africa Cup of Nations.

Nigeria also shares history with Venezuela, having secured a 3-1 victory in their only previous meeting in Miami, back in November 2012.

Venezuela, who recently concluded their unsuccessful 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign.

The friendly will be a new beginning as they fired coach Fernando Batista after their Wold Cup hopes faded out.

Venezuela redemption will start after finishing eighth in the 10 team CONMEBOL 2026 FIFA World Cup race.

Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle is expected to use the Houston encounter to test tactical variations, assess player depth, and sharpen team cohesion before AFCON.

Nigeria, drawn alongside Tunisia, Uganda, and Tanzania in Group C, hence the match as a vital rehearsal for continental battle.
