Nigeria’s U17 Women’s team, the Flamingos will clash with Canada in group D of the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco, on Sunday.
The former world cup quarterfinalists are set for a showdown with Canada at the Football Academy Mohammed VI (Pitch 2) in Moroccan city of Salé. Nigeria’s first meeting with Canada at this level ended 1-1 in 2012.

On Saturday, the girls had their final training session and were visited by former Ghana international and captain, Anthony Baffoe. The FIFA High Performance Specialist inspired the girls and urged them to make the continent proud.
