The West African Football Union Zone B (WAFU-B) has announced appointment of match official for the 3rd edition of the WAFU-B U20 Boys Cup.
In the list are seven referees and seven assistant referees. Two match officials are appointed from each country; one referee and one assistant referee.
The tournament will take place in Ghana from 10th -23rd July. Group A has Nigeria, Ghana and Benin Republic while group B has Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Togo and Niger.
The U20 boys cup will also serve as a platform for Nigeria, WAFU-B representatives at the FIFA U20 World Cup to prepare and get in shape ahead of the tournament. The Flying Eagles are two-time runners up at the World Cup.
The FIFA U20 World Cup will be hosted by Chile and it is scheduled for 27th September -19th October 2025.
